Please read these terms carefully before using ChyraConnect. By using our service, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Last updated: May 2026By downloading, installing, or using the ChyraConnect mobile application ("App") or any related services ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Chyra LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use ChyraConnect. By using our Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age.
ChyraConnect provides Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) calling services that enable users to make international calls to select destinations using an internet connection.
Our Service currently supports calls to the following destinations: Cameroon (+237), Egypt (+20), Ethiopia (+251), Ghana (+233), Kenya (+254), Nigeria (+234), South Africa (+27), Tanzania (+255), Uganda (+256), and the United Kingdom (+44). We may add or remove supported destinations at our discretion.
The Service is currently available to users located in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada. Use of the Service from countries where we do not currently operate may be unavailable, restricted, or prohibited under local law. You are responsible for complying with the laws of your jurisdiction.
To use ChyraConnect, you need a compatible iOS or Android device, a stable internet connection, a valid phone number for verification, and sufficient credit balance.
ChyraConnect is NOT a replacement for traditional phone service and CANNOT be used to call emergency services (911, 999, 112, etc.). Always use a traditional phone for emergency calls.
To use ChyraConnect, you must create an account by providing your phone number and completing our verification process. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, notify us of unauthorized access, and accept responsibility for all activity under your account.
You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity. Upon termination, your access will be revoked and any remaining credit balance may be forfeited.
ChyraConnect operates on a prepaid credit system. You must purchase credit before making calls. All prices are displayed in US Dollars (USD).
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
Credits remain valid for 12 months from your last account activity (top-up or call). After 12 months of inactivity, unused credits may expire.
Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of purchase. Unused credit may be refunded to your original payment method. Partially used credit is generally non-refundable. Contact support@chyraconnect.com for refund requests.
You agree to use ChyraConnect only for lawful purposes. You may NOT use our Service for fraudulent, harassing, or illegal activities; automated calling, spam, or telemarketing; attempting to circumvent our systems; reselling our services without authorization; or any activity that could damage our reputation or infrastructure.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy without refund.
ChyraConnect is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, specific call quality, or availability in all locations.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chyra LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Chyra LLC from any claims arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
The ChyraConnect app, website, name, logo, designs, and all related materials are the property of Chyra LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
Your privacy matters to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you also agree to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.
If you have a dispute with us, please contact us at support@chyraconnect.com first. Most disputes can be resolved quickly and informally. We commit to working with you in good faith for at least 30 days before any formal proceeding.
If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, you and Chyra LLC agree that any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration will be conducted in Tarrant County, Texas, in English. You and Chyra LLC each waive the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in a class action.
This arbitration clause does not apply to small-claims court actions, claims for injunctive relief regarding intellectual property, or where prohibited by applicable law.
UK and Canadian residents retain all rights granted under their local consumer-protection laws. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights, your right to bring a claim in your local courts, or your right to seek remedies through your jurisdiction's consumer-protection authorities.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to the Dispute Resolution section above, any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Tarrant County, Texas.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Chyra LLC regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
